Hanover Guest Home has been owned by the Belleza family since 1983. Two generations of our family have looked after the care of our residents. Among the Christian values which have been instilled in us is an abiding respect for the elderly. This is the foundation of the philosophy of award-winning care we provide at our home. Hanover Guest Home is a residential care facility for the elderly and the developmentally disabled (license # 440703228). Here we cultivate a Christian family environment. Located in a sun-drenched neighborhood of Santa Cruz referred to as the Banana Belt, we are a short walk to a library, two churches, a city park and shopping. Our grounds are maintained lovingly by the matriarch of our family. We offer: Private or semi-private rooms, Dining Room, Day Room, Front patio and Individual gardens behind each room. Our Administrator's home is adjacent to the facility. Our Award-Winning Care: We have always had one of the highest staff to resident ratios among comparable facilities. Our culture of care and respect extends to our caregivers who have been with us for an average of 8 years. With a live-in staff member to complement non live-in staff, we provide 24 hour personalized care for ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents which include: Three nutritious home cooked meals and an afternoon snack, Assistance with personal hygiene and grooming, Administering and monitoring prescribed medications, Housekeeping, Laundry, Transportation to and from medical appointments & Group recreational activities.
